This dedication to the old ways is what makes Wahaka stand out, earning the devotion of artisanal mezcal lovers. It's not just about the mezcal; it's about preserving a rich heritage and sharing it with the world.
Incredible expression. The nose is wild, full of eucalyptus and fresh jalapeño. The palate is super green and peppery, with a mineral-heavy finish. The kind of mezcal that makes you sit up and pay attention.
Not bad, but I’ve had better Tepeztates. There’s a lot of floral notes, but it doesn’t have the depth I was hoping for.
