Lobos 1707 Mezcal, launched in 2020, is a brand that blends heritage and innovation. Founded by Diego Osorio and backed by the legendary athlete LeBron James, the brand is inspired by Osorio's ancestor of the same name. The mezcal is made from 100% Agave Angustifolia (Espadin), roasted in an open, conical Oaxacan fire pit, and ground in an Egyptian stone mill. The mezcal is then flavored using Pedro Ximénez wine barrels from Spain. The brand's design elements, including the Osorio Family Coat of Arms and the Agave Wind Rose Compass, represent the union of Spanish and Mexican cultures. A portion of the brand's proceeds is donated to wolf sanctuaries in Mexico and the United States.
