"Amaras Mezcal, a brand that's all about love, was founded by a group of visionaries who fell head over heels for the world of mezcal. They're all about artisanal production, with a focus on sustainability and respect for Mother Nature. Their mezcal is 100% organic, and they've got a soft spot for agave, the heart of their product. They've even gone the extra mile by planting over 150,000 seeds of 18 different types of agave, including Espadín, Tobalá, Sierra Negra, Mexicano, and Jabalí. With a portfolio that showcases the effort of bottling solar energy, Amaras Mezcal is a brand that's truly committed to sharing the love for mezcal."
As a wine lover, I’m not super into strong spirits normally, but this mezcal was surprisingly easy to appreciate. It’s got character without being overpowering.
This is a rather standard espadín, nothing really special.
