GEM&BOLT Mezcal, a brand born from the fusion of tradition, myth, art, and plant wisdom, was founded by artist-alchemist duo AdrinAdrina and Elliott Coon. The name GEM&BOLT is inspired by the ancient Mexican legend where a lightning bolt strikes the heart (or gem) of the agave plant, releasing mezcal. The brand's unique offering, GEM&BOLT Mezcal + Damiana, is crafted by fourth-generation master mezcalero Ignacio Martinez in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca, using traditional methods. What sets it apart is the addition of Damiana, a traditional Mexican herb known for its heart-opening and euphoric properties, added just before the second distillation. GEM&BOLT Mezcal is a testament to the founders' mantra: “Make art, share plant knowledge, celebrate, repeat.”
